Frances Brenner

Frances (Manzione) Brenner, of Lakeville, Conn., formerly of Venice, Fla., died Monday, March 24, 2014. She was the wife of the late Charles Brenner, who died in 1992.

Fran relocated to Florida following her husband’s death, which was the culmination of a longtime dream of hers and Charlie’s. She enjoyed Florida for more than 20 years.

While living in Venice, Fla., Fran was very active. She served as the president of the Sons of Italy Venice, Fla., Chapter, Venice Holiday Parade chairperson and president of the Italian American Club. Fran was a communicant of Epiphany Cathedral.

She is survived by her son, Michael, and his wife, Susan (Romani) Brenner of Lakeville, Conn.; two grandsons, Michael William and Mathew David; daughter-in-law Doreen Brenner; and sister, Rosemary Durwando. She was predeceased by her son, David Brenner, and her brother, Louis Manzione.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Lakeville, Conn., Saturday March 29.
