Dorothy R. Erhardt, of Venice, Fla., died Monday, March 31, 2014, in Schenectady, N.Y., at the age of 84.
She was born March 1, 1930, in Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late Christopher and Mary (Lynch) Newman. Mrs. Erhardt had lived in New Fairfield, Conn., for more than 30 years before moving to Florida in 1989. Her husband of 39 years, Raymond Lynch Jr., predeceased her in 1990. Mrs. Erhardt was a member of the Red Hat Society of North Port, Fla.
Mrs. Erhardt is survived by her sons, Steven Erhardt and his wife, Susan, of San Antonio, Texas, and Raymond Erhardt and his wife, Margot, of Clifton Park, N.Y.; her daughters, Ruthann Goudy and her husband, Eugene, of North Port, Fla., and Leslie Logan and her husband, Kevin, of New Milford, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Caroline Antonaglia of Venice, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Bandito. She was predeceased by two of her sisters and her brother.
Services: A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m. at Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge St., New Milford, Conn. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield, Conn. Calling hours will be Friday, April 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lillis Funeral Home.
