Nadine Adair Stulgis, age 84, of Nokomis, Fla., died Sunday, April 6, 2014.
She was born in Lorain, Ohio, Oct. 18, 1929, and came to Nokomis in 1948. Nadine was the bookkeeper for Best Way Sales, the family television sales and service business in Nokomis, Fla.
Nadine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a charter member of Lakeside Lutheran Church in Venice, Fla. She was an avid outdoorswoman, a member of her high school archery and rifle teams and a Scout den mother, and was very active in Sarasota K9 Search and Rescue.
Surviving family members include her husband, William “Bill” Stulgis, of Nokomis, Fla.; daughter, Cynthia O’Neill (Randy), of Nokomis, Fla.; son, Mark Stulgis of Venice, Fla.; sister, Elaine Gfell of Norwalk, Ohio; grandson, Chris Perz (Christy) of Nokomis, Fla.; granddaughters, Angela Paret (Keith) of Myakka City, Fla., and Carly Hilton (Nigel) of Venice, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren.
