Judy Pirkle Francisco, 68, of Nokomis, Fla., formerly of Knoxville, Tenn., died Thursday, May 15, 2014. She was born Sept. 26, 1945.
Judy was a florist at Publix (Jacaranda Boulevard) for 20-plus years. After retiring, she devoted her time to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her beloved Elly May.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilma (Minnis) and Carl Pirkle, and her husband, Kesley Francisco.
Survivors include her children, Lisa (Alan) Kurecki, of North Port, Fla., Teresa (Bob) Patrick of Venice, Fla., Skip Sands of Venice, Fla., Michael Francisco of Johnson City, Tenn., Johnny (Julie) Francisco of Bluefield, W.V., and Tammy Francisco Simmons of Bluefield, W.V.; 11 grandchildren, Jason (Ester) Kurecki, Jennifer (Michael) Mills, Tiffany (Eric) Sauer, Emalee and Kassi Sands, Ashley Simmons, Daniel Francisco, John Michael Simmons, Maria Francisco, Sam Francisco and Cari (Juan) Espinoza; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Barb) Pirkle and Mike Pirkle; and nieces and nephews.
