Trimble Gailbreath

Trimble “Terry” Gailbreath, born Feb. 21, 1936, to Jesse Baugh Gailbreath and Lura Ethel Anderson, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014. Terry lived in the area for 34 years.

Survivors include his wife, Diana; daughters, Debbie Gailbreath and Darla Hager; son-in-law Matt Hager; grandchildren, Andrew Terry Hager and Ashley Genene Hager, with great-granddaughter Jaelyn due in July; sister, Mildred (Claude) Crymes of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters-in-law Evelyn Gailbreath of Lebanon, Tenn., and Ruth Gailbreath of Nashville, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Willard and Grady, and twin sisters, Mary and Martha.

Terry retired as a police sergeant from the Indianapolis Police Department in 1980. He also worked security at the Oaks in Osprey, Fla., at Venice Hospital and at the Sarasota County Gun Range as the range master.

Services: A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, May 27, at 10 a.m. at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home is handling arrangements. To send condolences, visit: FarleyFuneralHome.com.
