Kingston B. Strecker, 84, of Venice, Fla, formerly of Sweetwater, N.J., passed away Friday, June 13, 2014, at Tidewell Hospice House in Venice, Fla.
Kingston was born Feb. 22, 1930, in Camden, N.J., the son of the late William and Helen (Bock) Strecker. He was a member of the American Bible Society and was a contributor to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Jeanette Markowski of Las Vegas, Nev.; son, Kingston L. Strecker of Pahrump, Nev.; and stepdaughters, Jane Potoczny of Elgin, Ill., Mona Torpey of Philadelphia, Pa., Patricia Guzman of Red Bank, N.J., Rosemarie Engle of Bulls Gap, Tenn., and Juliana Koelbl of Nashville, Tenn.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Kingston was preceded in death by stepsons James Koelbl and Bernard T. Koelbl.
