James W. Clark Jr.

James W. (Jimmy) Clark Jr., age 87, passed away peacefully Friday, July 25, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Clark Sr. and Ethel F. Clark, and his sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and Perry G. Foster, all of Stockbridge, Ga.

He was a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Pharmacy and owned and operated his own store for more than 30 years in Stockbridge, Ga. Jimmy loved sports, particularly golf, fishing and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs.

James was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II and the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betsy; and his children, Pamela Clark of Jacksonville, Fla., James W. Clark III of Norcross, Ga., and Valerie (Paul) Munson of Suwanee, Ga. He also leaves behind granddaughters, Samantha (Joel) Frost of Braselton, Ga., and Elizabeth Munson of Atlanta, Ga.; and great-granddaughters Ella Grace and Kinsley Frost.

James is also survived by his brother, William F. (Dana) Clark; a niece, Ellie (Bobby) Love of Stockbridge, Ga.; and two nephews, Chris (Cindy) and Dave Clark.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held in the fall with inurnment in Stockbridge Cemetery. Farley Funeral Home, Venice, Fla., is handling the arrangements. To send condolences, visit: FarleyFuneralHome.com.
