Heather I. Gilbeau, 72, of Nokomis, Fla., passed away Friday, July 25, 2014.

Heather was born June 20, 1942, in Bradford England, to Jack and Irene Taylor. After raising three sons as a resident of Colchester, Vt., she moved to Florida in 1996.

She is survived by her three sons, Rob (Wendi) Delaney of Gainesville, Va.; Jack Delaney of Omaha, Neb.; and Bill (Robye) Delaney of Papillion, Neb.; four grandchildren, Conner, Brianna, Deirdra and Gryphon Delaney; mother, Irene Taylor of Canada; sister, Gill (Skip) Madsen of Canada; brother, Andy Taylor of Canada; and many other loving family members.

Heather had been living in Lake Village Mobile Home Park in Nokomis, Fla., for the past 14 years. Heather was an avid reader, enjoyed going to the movies with friends and was quite artistic. She looked forward to holidays where she decorated the tables for the different seasons at the holiday gatherings at Lake Village.

The family thanks her friends and neighbors at Lake Village for everything they did for her during her illness the last few months.

Services: In keeping with her wishes, Heather will be cremated and joined with her dog Tinker’s ashes. Her family plans a celebration of her life in Virginia later this summer.
