For nearly a year, the Venice Indians have worked to avenge a 46-8 loss to St. Thomas Aquinas in last year’s Class 7A state semifinal.

The Indians, who have made a living all season on key big plays and a using a powerful defense to knock out opponents, took out 52 weeks of frustration in Friday night’s state semifinal rematch against the Raiders.
