Trujic, Indians boot Tigers in district win

In her position as an outside player, Venice senior Vicki Trujic rarely gets to display what Indians head coach Gary Bolyard describes as one of the best shooting styles on his team.

Unfortunately for the Palmetto Tigers in this week’s district game at Well Field park, Trujic’s powerful shots found the back of the net twice in a span of less than two minutes, and the Indians went on to a 4-1 win over their northern rivals.
