The postseason accolades keep coming for the new Class 7A state champion Venice Indians football team.

Senior quarterback Bryce Carpenter, who completed his reign as a four-year starter for the Indians with Venice’s first state title since 2000, has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers Class 7A Player of the Year.
