Typically, a football team will get a week, maybe two, to prepare for an upcoming opponent. Sensing that a win over Armwood in Friday’s 6A regional quarterfinal will take an atypical effort, the Venice Indians (8-2) will come in as prepared as they possibly can be.

By the time Friday night rolls around, the Indians will have spent nearly a month preparing for this showdown.
