Indians sign letters of intent

Brandon Elmy has already won two state championships during his career at Venice High, and earned additional rings playing for the Florida Burn travel team.

Four members of the Venice High baseball team — Ryan Miller, Dalton Guthrie, Mike Rivera and Brandon Elmy — signed national letters of intent during a signing ceremony held Wednesday evening at Daiquiri Deck in Venice.

Miller will attend Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton, Elmy will play for Furman University in Greenville, S.C., and Guthrie and Rivera will remain teammates at the University of Florida.
