John Cokley might have to spend his seventh periods in the gym more often.

Hours after getting extra shots up at the tail end of the school day, the senior guard lit Sarasota up for five three-pointers and 18 points, helping Venice (4-2) hang on for a 58-53 win over the Sailors Wednesday night.
