The Venice High wrestling team earned its second consecutive district title at Saturday’s 2A-District 10 meet by the narrowest of margins, finishing 1.5 points ahead of runner-up Palmetto.

After winning two weight classes at last year’s district tournament, Venice doubled that number at Saturday’s meet, with Zach Kelly (126), Bryce Balsinger (138), CJ Trammell (145) and Luke Veigel (160) taking first in their divisions.
