Bunts, errors end Lady Indians’ season

Venice Indians coach Larry Sandburg told his team before the game that one hit or one mistake would be the difference in this game.

Sandburg proved prophetic as an error allowed the North Fort Myers Red Knights to edge out the Indians 4-3 in 12 innings in Tuesday night’s Class 6A-Region 3 Semifinal at Venice High School.
