Jacquie Schlitter, co-owner of Vite Bikes & Trikes bicycle shop, located on U.S. 41 here in Venice, is one tough lady.

Jacquie is an accomplished endurance cyclist who in the past was a confirmed racing bike user but now her allegiance is to recumbent bikes. Tired of the physical toll the regular bike takes on the body, she is now sold on the recumbent and will use one in her upcoming 3,000-mile solo ride across America.
