Immediately after signing his first National Football League contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, former Venice High School football standout Dri Archer had one thing on his mind: getting caught up in learning an NFL offense for the first time.

“It felt good to get back out there with my teammates,” Archer said in a video posted on the Steelers’ website, Steelers.com. “It’s good to get back in the playbook and get back to playing football.”
