Venice wrestlers earn AAU All-American honors

Venice wrestlers Zack Kelly, C.J. Trammel and Bryce Balsinger proudly display their AAU All-American award medals at the AAU Disney Duels held this week at the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. All three wrestlers won the award for the second consecutive year after placing in their respective weight classes at the four-day event.

Venice wrestler Bo Williams (right) fights for another victory at this week's AAU Disney Duels in Orlando. Williams finished the four-day event with a 7-3 record and won AAU All-American honors for the first time in the 120-pound class.

He took home his second consecutive AAU All-American award after finishing with an 8-2 record. Trammel is setwrestle at Iowa Lakes Junior College next year.

Four Venice High School wrestlers earned AAU All-American honors in this week’s AAU Disney Duels held at the Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.

Zach Kelly, a junior-to-be at Venice who wrestles in the 126-pound class, finished with a 9-1 record in the four-day event. It was the second All-American honor for Kelly, who also won the award at the same tournament last year.
