When the Venice High School swim team opens up its season next week with the Venice Relays, it’s going to have quite a different look than last year’s squad that sent several individuals to the state finals.
“We lost eight seniors including four pretty fast guys,” said second-year VHS swim coach Faith Nellis. “We’ve got a young team, but we should be pretty solid. With the swimmers we’ve got coming in, we should have a pretty good team in the coming years, too.”
