I flew my Learjet up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun. OK, calm down, Carly — I’m not that vain. Actually, I took an Allegiant Air flight to Tennessee for the recent eclipse. Both the flight and the solar event were amazing. I love that our little town of Punta Gorda has its own airport, and service in and out was fast, friendly and fun.
The eclipse itself was a once-in-a-lifetime event. Luckily my family has friends in rural Tennessee (how often does that phrase come up in polite conversation?) and we were able to chillax in our Adirondacks and watch the entire show.
