If you’re a year-round local, when you drive down U.S. 41 you can tell that we have a lot more people around than we did a couple months ago. I’m seeing our seasonal visitors all over: At the grocery store, in the restaurants, at the gas stations.
You know where I’m not seeing them? On the water. In fact, I’m not seeing many people on the water at all. I’m not complaining about it, really — I mean, who wouldn’t love to have the water to themselves? But it seems bizarre to me that we’re into some of the best fishing of the year and everybody is staying home.
