Our fall fishing here in sunny Southwest Florida is something that I look forward to every year. Some of the most exciting inshore and near-coastal fishing that I’ve ever experienced here on my home waters has been during these transitional months.

Whether it’s up inside of the bay or out in the Gulf, fall on Charlotte Harbor provides an influx of saltwater species that are heading all directions. Some of these fish are just here for the summer and preparing for departure. Others are just showing up for the winter months. Still more of these fish are actually here all year round, but just relocating to a warmer area for the upcoming chilly weather.
