A pause to refresh

Now that our last tournament for the year is in the books, it’s time for a little down time before January gets here and the new fishing season kicks off. As much as I love to be on the water, this time of year is greatly appreciated. It gives me a chance to sit back and reflect on some of the fishing we did this past season, and time to literally get more things done around the house.

You may laugh at that last statement, but it’s true. I’ve been working hard at getting a house I have in Plant City ready to be sold. It just hit the market recently but I have finally gotten the chance to get out there and wrap up some of the trim work that I have been wanting to finish before we get too many showings. Same goes for our house now. A new fire pit needs to be put in place out back. Our long winter nights are always a little more special when we can have a fire out back.
