Dissecting a pier

It’s already April and the year is flying by. We’re halfway through spring snook season, and I hope you guys have been out there catching some fish (despite the wind and weather not being able to make up it’s mind). It definitely needs to stay warm — just saying.

Anyway, quite a few people fish their favorite piers without ever really knowing how great they can be. So what I would like to do this week is take an in-depth look at a pier that I have fished a lot and pick apart the different areas of the pier. You can apply this information to any pier or areas with similar structures. Let’s fish the Ainger Pier in Englewood.
