Extremes are our new normal weather forecasts. Drought, then monsoon, now drought again. Red tides pop up (and fortunately also disappear) randomly. Despite the challenges, we have managed to find some action — just no consistency. Welcome to the new order of life: Be prepared and expect the unexpected.

Tarpon fishing is sporadic, but we do have fish. They come in and go out, and move up and down the Coast, but they are around. The bad news is they are usually schooled up, making it harder to figure out where the group of fish is at. The good news is they are schooled up, so we find a lot when we find them.
