You might be wondering what panang curry is. Well, it’s a Thai dish that I think is great if prepared correctly — the perfect balance between sour, sweet and spicy.
I like to eat spicy stuff, but crazy hot food needs a little sweetness to cool it off. Some hot sauces that I’ve tasted seem just awful. Panang is my favorite hot sauce. I guess you could buy it, but I think building it yourself would be the best route to get to right balances on your palate. If prepared right, you can taste so many flavors. There’s coconut milk, lime, good textures and of course the heat.
