It doesn’t take too much to get me excited about fishing. It’s pretty much been that way since I can remember. Growing up, my sister and I only had to walk about two blocks to a little lake just south of St. Paul in Minnesota. It was called Roger’s Lake, and it was my little fishing hole for years.
Although it was frozen for eight months of the year, we pulled out our share of panfish and cats.
