With so many concealment holsters out in the market today, it may be difficult to choose one that’s right for you. First, you must ask yourself how you would like to carry your handgun. Do you want to carry it in your pocket, purse or bag, inside your waistband or outside your waistband? In Florida’s warm climate, it may be very difficult to carry a handgun outside the waistband while still ensuring that is concealed. Therefore, unless you’re in law enforcement or security, most people don’t choose that option. With that being said, there is a holster that offers you the option to choose one or all of the remaining concealed carry choices. The Remora holster, named after the “sucker fish” often seen attached to sharks, is a very versatile and functional concealment product.
The Remora is constructed of three layers. The inside layer is a soft nylon that will protect the finish of any firearm from scratches or wear. The center layer is composed of non-absorbent foam that offers a comfortable padding between you and your firearm. Last but not least, the exterior layer is made out of a rubber-like material that comfortably grips your skin and clothing, ensuring that the holster stays put and secure.
