Winning on the B.A.S.S. Southern Open circuit is no easy task — I don’t care who you are or how much you think you know the lake you are fishing. The variables are endless, and hoping to catch big bags of bass for three days is no easy feat. Van Soles reveals some of his tricks in winning on Lake Kissimmee last month to capture his first B.A.S.S. event and qualify for the Bassmaster Classic in 2015.
One thing I know about Van Soles is if you put him in an area where he can use a flipping technique, you may never see him again. If there are fish in the area, he’ll find them.
