First off, I apologize about the headline. I can only squeeze in about three to four words up there each week, and the head this week is slang, meaning “marvelous,” or “fantastic.”
Say what you want about fishing tournaments, but this one is kind of neat. For the past three years, the Southwest Florida Council of the Blind — which advocates for blind and visually impaired people — has held a fishing tournament for the people it cares most about. Each year, charter captains and countless volunteers donate their time to help make memories that will undoubtedly last a while. This year was no exception, especially to a local father-and-son duo.
