When you were young, who took you fishing? Your father? Grandpa? Uncle Jimmy? Aunt Susan? If you are an angler today, chances are really good that someone took the time to show you how when you were a kid.
But not every kid has that opportunity. That’s why programs like Hook Kids on Fishing are so important. Many of the youngsters who attend don’t have Dad living at home, and Mom may not have the time, know-how or money to teach her children to fish.
