Don’t worry folks, if you weren’t able to do your part on Earth Day this past week, there’s still time.

Earth Day falls on April 22 each year. During my college days in Minnesota, a group of us would get together and pick up trash along the banks of the Mississippi River. Although I’m not proud to say this, I really haven’t given too much thought about Earth Day since then. But a few weeks ago, I attended a Marine Advisory Committee meeting and ran into a nice lady representing the Nature Conservancy. She told me about a pretty neat environmental project coming up involving oysters.
