Thinking of a new boat

Bass boats often have big, thirsty outboards, so the less you run the motor the more fishing you'll get out of every gallon of fuel.

How many of you have gone out and bought a new boat recently? Well, then you know the quandary I’m in. This isn’t the first time I’ve wrestled with the notion of buying a new boat, but I think I’ve finally made up my mind.

You know the one question that’s always on my mind when buying a new boat is, “am I getting the latest and greatest a boat builder has to offer?” That thought runs through my head every time I consider buying a new boat. In the past, I’ve looked at simply finding a newer used boat, but what does that really get you unless you find the deal of a lifetime. I’m to the point now that I’m taking into consideration that this may be the last thing I purchase brand new.
