Preventing is better than curing

I’d rather be lucky than good — just don’t depend on luck for survival.

It’s so easy to take people and things for granted. We tend to relax and assume things are all right. We used to have our batteries and fluid levels checked at the service station. We don’t have service stations any more, just self-serve gas stops. Most don’t even have water or air either. Anyway, boats require significantly more maintenance. If you think maintenance is expensive, wait until you have to repair or replace parts. Preventative maintenance is your friend. Try it and feel better — and save some cash. If you won’t do it for yourself, do it for your friends and family.
