Not every trip has to involve being out on the water. This time, we were doing a bit of sight-seeing — you know, playing tourist —out on Pine Island. (If you’ve never done that, you should. The island’s rural character and abundant nurseries make for an interesting diversion.) But, as they say, ya gotta eat, and we always like to be someplace where we can look out over the water.
So we stopped at the end of the line: Capt’n Con’s Fish House is at the northern tip of the island, in the “town” of Bokeelia. After marveling at the views of Boca Grande Pass, Cape Haze Point and Burnt Store Marina, we headed into the cozy dining room for an early supper.
