This is a special time of year for divers. Yes, the water is warm. But I’m not talking about the weather, I’m talking about spiny lobster season.
From August through March, you can bring home dinner, if you follow the rules. And if you can’t wait until August, there is a two-day sport season that always falls on the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July. As this edition of WaterLine goes to press, I’ll be in Miami diving for lobster.
